A Comparative Market Analysis is prepared by the Realtor to determine the approximate sale
price of your home. Data from the MLS for homes of like size, condition, age, and style from
your neighborhood that have been sold within the last six to twelve months is compared to the
features of your home to determine a recommended price range. Similar active home listings are
also included to evaluate current competition. The CMA is not an appraisal which is a more
detailed analysis of the home by a licensed appraiser. |
